Synopsis: “I will do anything to make her MINE.” —Remington Tate

He's mine, and I'm his. Our love is all-consuming, powerful, imperfect, and real...

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington "Riptide" Tate as vital as the air he breathes... and now he can't live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman's dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, she is torn away from his side. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Review: 5 Stars - Mine, the highly anticipated sequel to Real, by author Katy Evans is an emotionally charged novel that brings back two characters that readers fell in love with and gives everyone even more to root for in one heck of a follow-up book.

Mine picks up almost right where we left our two main characters – Remy and Brooke in Real. Their relationship was intense, their love fierce and the ups and downs we thought we saw them deal with in Real were nothing compared to what these two faced in Mine.

Brooke has some major guilt to deal with from what happened at the end of Real and the two have some pretty heated discussions while trying to deal with that issue among others. And Remy is still battling his demons as best as he can. We get to see so many more ups and downs for these two that you almost can’t read without some tissues handy.

I thought I was exhausted while reading Real, but Mine while it was a sequel I couldn’t put it down and when I reached the end I was wore out. Strung out is more like it! And WOW, the steam and the swoon! I had to fan myself often and I think I was blushing more than I wasn’t during this but everything was well worth the time spent with Brooke and Remy.

These are two characters you can do nothing more but cheer for and cheer on because while their issues aren’t run of the mill, they are still so amazingly well written that you feel as if they are real people. You become so deeply involved in their lives and story you can’t help but form some strong emotional attachments too, which was and is the case for me.

Katy has some strong characters with heart. These characters and their lives and the people they surround themselves with are amazing. Once you start reading you just can’t get enough! I know that I don’t think I’ll ever get my fill when it comes to Remy and Brooke!

This is a hard review for me to write because I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say this. If you haven’t read Real you are missing out on one amazing book with some seriously epic characters you won’t soon forget. If you have read Real, don’t pass up Mine. It’s a sequel that’ll top the first book. It’s a sequel that’ll leave you emotionally drained; it’s a sequel that’ll leave you begging for more!

There’s no doubt that I’m a huge fan of Katy and her characters. She’s got a knack for writing a seriously flawed on the inside, perfect on the outside alpha male that everyone will continue to swoon over for a long time to come. I high will read anything that Katy writes and YOU should too! I highly recommend this author and book to anyone and everyone, so don’t pass these by! Enjoy!
